    Employment Type:
    Permanent, Full Time
    Workington (4 days office, 1 day home)

    Salary:
    £80,000 - £100,000 base + £12,500 car allowance + site related bonus

    Benefits:

    We're delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Holmen Iggesund in recruiting their new Head of HR. Holmen Board & Paper is a world-class integrated pulp and paperboard mill producing premium paperboard for clients worldwide.

    We have a vacancy for a Head of HR to lead the HR Strategy and People function at our Workington site.

    With overall responsibility for the HR function and its people, you will play an integral role in creating a sustainable future for our site, our community, and our customers.

    Develop and deliver the overall HR strategy aligned to the business needs
    Preparing, controlling and meeting the agreed annual HR budget
    Advising the Management Team and maintaining excellence in:

    Succession planning
    Rewards and benefits including workplace pensions
    Talent Management
    Performance Review
    Salary review and benchmarking
    Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
    Promoting the Company Brand to maintain positive standing in the local community
    Organisational compliance with the site legal register
    Fire Risk
    We're looking for a true, credible, strategic HR Leader.

    As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll provide the strategic direction for the HR function as well as supporting the Managing Director in critical decisions across the business.

    With the support of an HR Manager and HR Advisor, you'll collaborate across business functions in helping drive areas of development, performance, and engagement to achieve strategic goals.

    To be successful, you'll need a wealth of HR experience behind you and a wider appreciation of manufacturing/engineering.
