Special Needs Teaching Assistant | Special school in Hillingdon
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to work at a Special School based in Hillingdon. Our school caters to children aged 5 to 13 with Autism and other SEN/D.


As our Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our young students.


You will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting the teachers in the classroom, both in group activities and oneonone tuition
  • Supporting the social and emotional development of the pupils
  • Implementing individualised behaviour management programs
  • Assisting with personal needs, such as toileting and feeding
  • Preparing learning materials for the pupils
  • Assisting with setting up for lessons and tidying at the end of each day
  • Liaising with parents, other members of staff and outside professionals
