Description

We are looking for a MSE Clinical Lead for Antenatal and Newborn Screening to join our friendly team on a permanent full time basis.


As the Clinical Lead Midwife for Antenatal and Newborn Screening you will be responsible for providing midwifery leadership to the clinical areas and contributing to the operational management within Maternity.

You will ensure the efficient and effective use of resources and the development & maintenance of the highest standards of care and efficient service delivery.


You will lead on quality issues and be responsible for the implementation, administration and monitoring of antenatal and newborn screening programmes and fetal wellbeing department with responsibility for performance management of key indicators.


You will have a high profile, be an accessible and responsive leader who is able to make informed decisions within their own area and scope of professional practice, involving pregnant women and other stakeholders to ensure agreed standards and targets are met.


Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is now one of the largest in the country, with a workforce of approximately 15,000 who serve a population of 1.2 million people.
