HEAD OF DESIGN ( LADIES AND MENS ONLINE PREMIUM FASHION BRAND )UP TO £65K MANCHESTER BASED Role DescriptionOur client is a highly successful online premium fashion brand based in Manchester and experiencing exceptional online growth, they are now looking to recruit a commercially aware HEAD OF DESIGN with potential to become DESIGN DIRECTOR to join the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of designers, overseeing the entire design process from concept to final product, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, implementing design strategies, and ensuring brand consistency and alignment with the company's vision and driving the brand and business forward.

Sourcing and product development is also very beneficial for this role. QualificationsProven experience as a Head of Design or similar leadership role within ladies & menswearStrong knowledge and understanding of the online ecommerce fashion industry sourcing & product development Excellent leadership and team management skillsProficiency in design software and toolsCreative thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and manage multiple projectsAttention to detail and a keen eye for aestheticsKnowledge of current fashion trends and consumer preferencesExperience working with premium fashion brands is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field
