- Participate in audits where appropriate. About the Candidate All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
- Professional registration with relevant professional body: NMC.
- Post-graduate qualification in specific speciality, or equivalent experience.
- Qualified prescriber.
- Evidence of on-going CPD.
- Advanced clinical assessment skills.
- Competence to undertake asthma, COPD and diabetic clinics and reviews, holding relevant certificates.
- Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations, assisting with minor surgery, dressing and wound care, and recording spirometry.
- Compassionate manner with an empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work. The successful candidate will value the dignity of our patients, their relatives and carers, as well as their colleagues at the practice.
- Knowledge, and experience of its application, in supporting long-term conditions.

About the RoleFronks Road Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for an advanced nurse practitioner to join our friendly team on a part-time basis.
