A bit about the role...


Working as part of a national Infrastructure Loan Funding team led by David Scurr, Assistant Director Infrastructure Finance, your role will be to lead the talented South Infrastructure Loans team as Regional Head unlocking and accelerating strategic housingled projects and delivering regeneration.


The role will require strong leadership skills and the ability to drive origination, structuring and execution of complex Infrastructure Loans predominantly across London, the South East and the South West, deploying the Home Building Fund - InfrastructureLoans fund.


You will be:

  • Leading a team of experienced funding specialists based in London, Coventry and Bristol to deliver high value complex infrastructure loans;
  • Engaging with Master Developers, Promoters, Landowners and the wider house building sector to promote the fund and originate lending opportunities;
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders;
  • Supporting team members in their day to day roles including the analysis and structuring of proposals; and Being a member of the Senior Management Team of the Infrastructure Funding Department.

The role will support the delivery of key strategic projects around the country.

There are some exciting projects to get involved with and encouraging through our lending intervention, a commitment to placemaking, quality, sustainability and long term stewardshipof key housing led projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist team, balancing day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to our infrastructure funding offering.


A bit about you


You'll understand how to lead and manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.


From a lending, surveying, finance, development or risk background you'll be experienced in originating, structuring and executing complex real estate and infrastructure finance proposals.

You have a focus on delivering results.


You will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You are able to build good working relationships with a range of key partners and stakeholders

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
