A bit about the role... You will be responsible for driving Homes England's mission and objectives across the country and be the front door for partners to access Homes England skills and products through the development and ownership of a single pipeline of activity. You willbe part of a high performing team of delivery and strategy experts in building and managing relationships in priority places.


The post holder will work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to unlock land and enable access to financial tools and mechanisms that encourage the delivery of housing across local markets that would not otherwise happen; working to help support some ofthe agency's largest and most complex projects.


The Market's Partners and Places (MPP) directorate plays a leading role in driving Homes England's mission, objectives, business development and place-focussed activity.

We use our knowledge to focus our expertise and forge ambitious local partnerships thatsolve the most complex placemaking issues and leverage commercial, economic and social benefits to deliver our housing and regeneration targets.


MPP has four partner-facing teams which lead Homes England's business development and place-focussed activities, acting as the front door to partners to access Homes England skills and products and shape conversations and solutions with places.

We work withexperts across Homes England, the market and Government to lead the development of agency-wide strategies that support housing and regeneration.

We lead multi-functional teams to deliver significant opportunities and cross-agency projects focusing on our strategicpriorities.

MPP has a mixed portfolio of projects, such as Bristol Temple Meads, Garden Communities and Strategic Place Partnerships, providingflexibility and supporting colleagues to explore their own interests and areas of expertise.


A bit about you We are looking for someone who has the following key skills and knowledge:

  • Degree level or equivalent academic qualifications are required with the ability to bring strong intellectual rigour to the role.
  • Ability to work at pace, managing competing deadlines and delivering high quality outputs, often in ambiguous environments - providing direction for projects you lead.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to assimilate and analyse complex information and find solutions to support the delivery of Homes England's objectives.
  • A passion for housing policy or development, property development, town planning, or economic development sectors is essential.
