- Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings; mechanical and electrical.
- Produce documentary evidence and carry out scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment ensuring that maintenance data records are accurately and promptly updated.
- Respond to machine and plant equipment breakdowns, carry out necessary repairs and report the cause of breakdown.
- Traditional apprenticeship coupled with appropriate technical qualifications; City & Guilds / ONC / HNC in Electrical/ Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
- Experience with machine tools and CNC controlled machines.
- Ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimum supervision.
- Have good fault finding and problem-solving skills.
