    STUNNING LOCATION- NEW OPENING The Client
    Our client are a new opening Privately owned Club, Restaurant and Events Space in Guildford.

    With a real focus on 'nod to local' 'field to fork' effortlessly stylish British cuisine they company currently have a fantastic opprotunity to recruit a talented, knowledgeable Head Chef.

    As Head Chef you will be showcasing locally sourced menus and have proven experience previously of having worked with local quality suppliers and having launched new openings.

    This is a stunning concept- 40 cover restaurant, 20 cover outside terrace and event space operating 7 days a week.

    Responsibilities

    This is a great opportunity for someone to be part of the new opening and make it their own To create menus and develop the food concept.

    This role is for a chef with energy and Passion leading a team of 6 to put the Restaurant on the Map as a destination culinary experience.

    As Head Chef, you will be in full control of the kitchen brigade.

    Your role including staff training, hiring, health & safety, kitchen admin, implementing and the procurement of new menus & costings, responsible for kitchen finances, ensuring that the GP is met.

    Requirements

    At least 3 years experience as senior sous or head chef with a strong solid background in a quality fresh food environment.

    Be an excellent team leader and with the ability to motivate your team and work well under pressure.

    You will ultimately have a strong drive and a solid background and above all a sound knowledge of seasonal and fresh produce.
