A Day Care Assistant role includes:
promoting Person Centred Care
supporting residents with dignity, respect and inclusion
providing personal care that includes bathing/showering, dressing and undressing, and toileting residents
promoting as much independence and support to residents as possible
escorting to dining hall, setting trays/tables, giving assistance with feeding
promoting various activities with the residents and encouraging them to be a part of the home's community
recording of resident's logbooks and food/fluid intake (whether it be paper or electronic)

Requirements for a Day Care Assistant:
enhanced DBS clearance
previous experience required
