Construction Site Planner

Rate:
£450 per day (CIS)

Location:
Speke (North West)

Hours: 44 hours per week

Contract:
Up to 12 Months

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly established Electrical and Engineering Contractor on a long-term project over in Speke, Liverpool.

They are seeking a Construction Site Planner to develop engineering document methods, construction activities within the project and ensuring the project is delivered on time/within budget.

You must be able to Drive.

Construction Site Planner Duties:

Developing and monitoring projects to ensure they are fully baselined, labour costed and resource loaded.
Scheduling plans on a weekly basis (in line with company guidelines and best practice).
Adhering to contractual and client requirements.
Producing risk assessments, costs and potential delay analysis.
Reporting any planning issues to the Site Management team.
Assisting in collating regular reports (for internal/external customers).
Working alongside Engineering, Construction Sites and higher management to ensure cohesion between activities and the Project Schedule.

Requirements:

An Engineering or Construction discipline
Proven understanding of Primavera P6 Software
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel)
23 years' experience (as a Site Planner) within construction settings
