    About The Role

    We have an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join DAS Law in our friendly and high performing Employment Team in either our Bristol or Bedwas offices.

    The successful candidate will assist with and/or hold responsibility for a diverse and challenging contentious caseload; acting on behalf of Claimant's and Respondent's from the very point a dispute arises right through to trial. The department holds a wealth of experience, and the successful candidate will receive unrivalled support and opportunities to grow and develop. You can also immerse yourself into the fun and friendly social activities regularly organised by the department and by the wider business.

    As well as acting for employees and employers during the litigation process, we also provide advisory HR services such as drafting contracts and policies, and providing guidance and support to businesses through the complexity of employment law requirements.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will have excellent customer care skills and the ability to manage a contentious caseload, and whilst litigation experience would be highly advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

    It is essential that candidates have a foundational knowledge of employment law which may have been gained either in the workplace or in an educational context. As a minimum, candidates will need to demonstrate knowledge of the following areas of employment law and procedure:

  • Unfair dismissal;
  • Discrimination, and
  • Basic statutory and contractual rights.
