    Are you an experienced Multi-Site Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking for a fresh challenge?

    We have a fantastic opportunity to build a successful career with our management team in a newly created hospitality role.

    You will lead the kitchens at our Tetbury & Bristol delivering exceptional services to our residents.

    This is a roving role between both sites catering for exciting themed events across a 5-day calendar including brunches, afternoon teas and Sunday lunches.

    Here at Lifestory we own and manage a portfolio of exclusive later-living complexes including sites and our home owners and renters that live onsite look forward to freshly cooked food and exciting themed events.

    This is a front facing role with constant interaction with our residents via open kitchens, therefore calm, courteous and engaging candidates are encouraged to apply.

    This role is primarily a sole chef operation but with ample support in the kitchens where required.

    The successful applicant will be integral to the future success of all our sites with internal restaurants and will play a key role in the growth and development of the overall food provision offered within the company.

    Developing high quality dishes to support menus, maintaining agreed target GPs
    Negotiating and managing supplier accounts ensuring all prices are in agreed limits
    Helping set up and develop the full food and beverage service at both sites
    Full daily responsibility for all aspects of food preparation and delivery from both the kitchen and front of house
    Undertaking weekly stock takes, account for any deficiencies and maintain target on GPs
    Fully accountable for the cleanliness and safe systems of work in the kitchen and dining areas
    Adhering to established HACCP processes and local authority 5-star standards
    Minimum of Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate, taken within the last 5 years
    At least 2 years experience heading up a similar sized kitchen
    Planning of menus considering nutritional requirements (and needs of the demographic in Role question would be preferable)
    Budgeting, ordering and preparation of food provision in order to achieve profit
    Conversant with Food Hygiene Regulations and Legislations
    Strong Computer skills such using Word/Excelor Google Suite/Gmail an advantage
    Confidence in dealing with all HACCP and Food Standards Agency documentation
    Ability to maintain high level of cleanliness across all areas of the kitchen
    Able to plan effectively and provide a great food provision within parameters of budgets
    This role will involve travel between both sites so a full clean driving licence and own car is essential.
