An exciting opportunity has arisen for two
qualified Lawyers to join a leading international bank based in central London.

The bank is seeking two legal professionals to assist with the oversight and review of legal documentation relatingto project and structured finance, and syndicated loan agreements.

You will be responsible for reviewing loan documentation within the specified timeframe as required to meet business needs (adopting the LMA format); as well as supporting the manager withthe day-to-day management of the team.

Duties to include:

Attend to loan documentation adopting the LMA format including the reviewing of loan agreements, intercreditors agreements, security documents, legal opinion and fee letters, etc. ensuring that the terms are in compliance with terms as per approved creditproposal
Liaise with external legal counsel, building monitor and other professional advisors throughout the loan documentation process with terms as per proved credit proposal
Prepare / review standard offer letters ensuring that the terms are in compliance with terms as per approved credit proposal
Register new offer letter on monitoring report, monitor return of signed offer letters; and prepare report on biweekly basis advising nonreturn of offer letters and outstanding fees
Check and ensure that the offer letters and other documents returned by Borrower are executed
Monitor the outstanding items (e.g. conditions subsequent, original copy of offer letter, certificate of legal validity etc.) after drawdown from time to time
Contribute to the maintenance of legal updates and templates
Sound experience of loan documentation gained within a law firm or major banking environment.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
Knowledge of LMA format highly desirable.
