Key Duties with Include:

Direct and challenge Employees to align with all requirements and behaviours of their role profile.
Production planning being the core skill, also ensuring we are budgeting surplus fills on private.
Management of people, including upholding of company policies and procedures.
Manage recording of leaker and drum defect rates and reason.
Responsible for motivating, leading & coaching of all employees.
Conducting regular monitoring and feedback of employees.
Identifying, evaluating and developing initiatives to ensure skill and competency levels are maintained.
Ensure production and conformance to plan targets are met and deploy the labour plan.
Responsible for overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and potential efficiency; accuracy & waste recording; downtime; product weights; labour numbers and efficiency.
Utilise, comply and maintain all the relevant systems to gather and produce robust management information.
To ensure effective communication between operations team,management & support teams and engineering between shifts & individual employees by utilising the tiered accountability process & appropriate escalation points.
Continuously identify ways to reduce costs, improve standards and efficiency in all areas.
Ensure Quality Management Systems and procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility.
Achieve and maintain hygiene audit standards always.
Take accountability for ensuring all relevant documentation is completed to the required standard.
Cross training operators and looking for potential numbers for individual production lines.
Food Manufacturing background.
Worked at supervisory level.
Ability to manage a team.
Good time management skills.
Great communication skills.
Highly organised.
Can work on own initiative.
Hands on approach to the role.
