A leading Telecommunications company are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join them for 6 months in their London office.

This role requires a strong technical understanding of IFRS 15 and experience interpreting new and existing contracts. The Senior Management Accountant must have demonstratable strong management accounts experience including posting revenue related journals, including P&L, accrued and deferred, technical knowledge (IFRS15) when interpreting a contract, or where an existing contract has been amended and the accounting treatment has changed with solid excel skills where you have use large volumes of data, and examples of process improvements. The role requires sound understanding of the IFRS15 accounting treatment and the ability to analyse contracts and come to a conclusion on the accounting treatment. This role requires partnering with the commercial finance and sales teams; therefore the role requires an individual who can build relationships and work effectively with non-finance stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-pace environment for a company going through a transition of change therefore requires someone to have a hands-on approach and hit the ground running, getting involved in the detail and being able to make process improvements from day 1.

You must have 3 years post qualified experience (ACA/CAANZ/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and possess strong excel and technical accounting skills.
