What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join our growing team.


Day to Day You'll Be:

You will be responsible for the delivery of Credit Control duties for the ledger in line with current procedures.

  • Collection of overdue invoices.
  • To obtain from the debtor calls a promise, name of the person and expected date for the payment to arrive, to work as part of a team to produce the best results as part of the Credit Control Dept, prioritise allocated tasks to provide the optimum service, Adhere to company standards in order to present a professional image to all stakeholders and escalate debts according to the credit policy through to legal.
  • Monitoring/Escalation of accounts.
  • Ensuring debtor day and cash targets are achieved, query resolution is made in a timely manner and delinquent debtors are escalated through the Senior Recievables Mgr / Senior Credit Controller for litigation.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure that we deliver the best possible service to all account holders.
  • Share responsibility for the monthly statement run.
  • Maintaining conversation notes and history on the collections system

  • To provide a high level of customer service (internal or external customers).
  • Keeps manager/key stake holders fully updated with work carried out.
  • Independently manages and own allocated tasks and deliverables.
  • Delivers tasks and deliverables within set deadline.
  • Adds relevant and perceptive insights and observations to weekly reports/meetings.
  • Takes ownership of issues ensuring first touch resolution where possible.
  • Leads processes as delegated by their manager.
