Supply Teacher (Secondary School)

Between £140 - £180

Reed Education is currently seeking experienced Supply Teachers to join our team and work across various locations in East London.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to a variety of age groups and ability levelsin the absence of the regular classroom teacher.


Key responsibilities:


  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Providing feedback to regular classroom teachers on student progress and behaviour
  • Following lesson plans and schemes of work provided by regular classroom teachers
  • Undertaking administrative tasks such as marking, planning and preparation as required

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a UK school setting
  • Ability to manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and with different age groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
