Marsh Sport as a
Client Executive, this is the perfect role for an individual with ambitions to build a career in an exciting team.


We are looking for an experienced Client Executive to join the team where you will deal with a wide range of Sports clients including but not limited to professional football clubs, associations and governing bodies as well as golf and cricket clubs.

There may also be opportunity to work with some of our media and entertainment clients.


You will be joining a team of insurance professionals and will be dealing with new business and renewals as well as supporting other team members.


Marsh Sport is a specialist division of Marsh Ltd with dedicated teams across the UK offering insurance broking and risk management advice to the world of sport, entertainment and leisure.

  • Client satisfaction is a key priority in this role, we are looking for a strong relationship builder, whose technical abilities consistently aid the retention of our clients.
  • You will ensure all instructions and requirements are handled promptly and accurately and maintain communication and understanding through accurate reports and summaries.

We will rely on you to:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provide advice accordingly.
  • Execute renewal/placement strategies, manage broking and client service in accordance with client instructions.
  • Assist in presentations to prospective clients and the development of innovative solutions to gain new clients and projects.
  • Receive, negotiate, and evaluate quotes from insurers to deliver the best options to clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client and be the primary point of contact for daytoday service needs.
  • Work closely with your colleagues to manage delivery of excellent client service.
  • Keep abreast of changing market conditions and contribute to the firm's body of knowledge within this specialist industry through active internal communication.

What you need to have:


  • Experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment to tight client deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
