Job description


The Team Leader role is to support the Deputy and Service Manager in their responsibilities for the overall management and day to day running of designated Enabling Lives services / people we support through involvement in certain administrative duties as well as the direct provision and delivery of support including as part of the on-call rota.


The role is suitable for those individuals seeking a bank contract with a minimum 3 month commitment and a regular shift pattern.

Our key requirements:


  • For you to share our values and passion
  • Previous experience of a supervisory role which involved supporting young people (1618yo) with emotional behaviour disorder (EBD), learning disabilities, autism and behaviours which challenge
  • Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
  • Expected to have or be willing to work towards and complete Level 3 and above Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Reliable, flexible, punctual, hard working and honest
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability, mental illness and other complex needs
  • Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service outcome
  • Satisfactory references
