- Interpret customer requirements and estimator quotations to provide efficient and professional designs, ensuringtargets are achieved and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Prepare formal RFI's as required.
- Liaise with customers and provide a knowledgeable service.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure designs takes into consideration costs, targets and manufacturing capacity & capability.
- Generate enquiries from new and existing customers, follow up quotations and obtain orders.
- Good understanding of I.T (use of Microsoft Office 365 suite).
- Minimum 2 years experience in roof truss design, with experience in Posi-joists designing projects utilising Mitekand/or other design software.
- Basic CAD and drafting knowledge.
- General knowledge of the construction industry.
- Familiarity with UK Building Regulations.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills required to liaise with colleagues and customers.
- Able to work as part of a small team but have self-motivation to work alone to meet deadlines and customerexpectations.
- Passionate about exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer service.
- Full UK driving licence is preferable.
