The College of Aeronautics and Engineering is seeking qualified individuals who may be interested in working as adjunct faculty members in support of its Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and its Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Systems Engineering Technology programs. Both programs are accredited by ABET.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Selected candidates will be considered for teaching a full range of lecture and lab courses in the Aerospace Engineering and Aeronautical Systems Engineering Technology programs. Courses include, but are not limited to, MATLAB, thermodynamics (both applied and theoretical), aircraft structures, statics, dynamics, fluid power, instrumentation and control, strength of materials, systems engineering, propulsions and space systems.

Adjunct faculty are expected to:
Courses are offered on a semester basis, fall (mid-August through mid-December), spring (mid-January through mid-May) and summer (several sessions). Classes are typically offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 am and 10:00 pm and run 1-2 days a week. The schedule of any class taught by an adjunct faculty member in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering will be coordinated with student schedules and the adjunct faculty's availability, and on a case-by-case basis.
Standard compensation for a 3-credit hour course begins at $3300.
