    The position is part of the Moody's Analytics Global Sales and Customer Service Group.

    As a Know Your Customer (KYC) and Data Solutions (Data Apps) Sales Representative you will be responsible for working with sales colleagues and other internal stakeholders to drive the sales process for a defined set of products and services (predominantly Orbis and related business intelligence and workflow solutions). Key activities include:

  • Identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity and managing sales cycles to closure. Additionally, the role requires the assessment of client needs and providing clients with strategic guidance and product overviews.
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager of KYC and Data Apps (KYC&DA) for Asset Management
  • Meet established revenue targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Manage full lifecycle sales process which includes, identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations
  • Generate new revenue from research, product and service solutions and defending & growing existing revenue streams
  • Represent company at industry and company sponsored events, as required
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Demonstrate the superiority and value of our solutions to potential and existing clients
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and the wider sales team to build sales pipeline and promote Moody's Analytics solutions
  • Lead the development of business within assigned territories. Partner with Solution Specialists to develop clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted prospect/client demos that address their business needs
  • Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree) required, with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields
  • Knowledge of business intelligence data /the global data market, Software-as-a-Service, and/or understanding of how organizations use these within business functions such as KYC, Master Data, Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain, and Credit
  • Demonstrated success of building relationships with senior level decision makes and selling into large complex organizations
  • Results-oriented, self-starter who can effectively interact across multiple role levels both internally and externally
  • Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and proven time management to manage multiple sales-cycles and meet timelines
  • Fluency in English and the local language is essential
  • Strong prospecting and new business development experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
  • 7+ years' experience working in direct business-to-business sales roles, leading sales cycles to successful conclusions through the use of consultative selling techniques. Focus on serving financial institutions, corporations, government, or professional services
  • Travel required within Europe
