    Job Description

    Overview:
    BSC Education is looking for a Digital Marketing trainer/lecturer to work on different parts of a new course. Tasks are varied from understanding the curriculum from start, creating suitable content, training students, breaking down content for every course into deliverable sessions, making sure all aspects syllabus and learning outcomes are covered in any content design, all while delivering outstanding learning experiences for participants.

    You should have sound knowledge with a proven record on topics such as Website planning, SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Digital Marketing Strategy, E- Commerce Marketing etc.

    Delivery and timing of courses will vary, requiring potential weekend and evening availability.

    Duties of the role include, but are not limited to, those listed below.

    Duties:

    • Teach a wide range of marketing related topics and support student/participant learning with appropriate tutorial sessions and individualised feedback.
    • Teach high-quality lessons that are in line with the teacher handbook and accreditation criteria for your teaching level and experience.
    • Provide student tutorials as and when required.
    • Take part in the colleges' and accreditation's observation programme as and when required.
    • Complete all administrative tasks relating to your classes and your role in a timely manner and to a high standard, including detailed work and homework records, materials used, test results, tutorials and other relevant student information.
    • Oversee the general welfare of all students/participants in your classes and refer any issues to the safeguarding officers in accordance with the safeguarding policy
    • Undertake pastoral duties as necessary and support students on an individual basis through their academic journey
    • Participation in CPD opportunities as and when available
    • Develop face to face lesson course content based on self-guided learning materials and update these learning materials regularly in accordance with industry/topic relevance and our accreditors curriculum.
    • Travel and teach onsite to businesses as necessary.
    • Substantial experience of delivering high quality training programmes to a variety of audience types
    • Demonstrable track record in delivering learning that leads to improvements in performance
    • Engaging, inspirational and professional presentation style and strong group facilitation skills
    • Able to adapt delivery style to meet the needs and expectations of the audience
    • Ability to work seamlessly with PowerPoint, online quizzes, collaboration and other learning tools
    • Sound understanding of the needs and expectations of modern learners
    • Ability to accurately and efficiently assess student submissions in line with awarding organisation standards
    • Ability to monitor, assess and report on progress and needs of students and provide developmental feedback
    • Passion for helping others learn

    Specific Role Requirements

    Professional Experience
    • Experience of working in a marketing environment/ Experience of management (of projects and/or of staff) in a marketing environment
    • Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to identify gaps in skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    Learning / Teaching
    • Proven experience of recent excellence in teaching identified by peer review
    • Experience of module and / or programme leadership
    • Experience of developing innovative module/programme content and delivery methods
    • Online and blended learning / teaching experience
    • Experience in OR proven ability in teaching digital marketing and marketing communications
