Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Social Researcher for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR SOCIAL RESEARCHER

  • Conduct research and evaluation for Asylum and Protection portfolio working closely with Operational and Policy colleagues.
  • Produce and present monitoring and performance metrics on a monthly basis.
  • Carry out internal analysis of MI data and AQA of evaluation analysis and reporting.
  • Provide technical advice for scoping wider evaluation work.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR SOCIAL RESEARCHER

  • Strong knowledge of evaluations and applied social research methods, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Experience of carrying out complex analysis for evaluation purposes (including regression methods).
  • Experience of using appropriate analytical techniques and software (such as SQL, R, SPSS, SAS, Stata, N-Vivo and similar packages)
  • Experience of analysing data and presenting results clearly to a variety of audiences.
