    Logistics Manager - Billingham

    Planning site set-up to efficiently move labor, plant, and materials around site.

    • Organizing internal and external logistics routes throughout project phases, focusing on separating vehicles, machinery, and personnel.
    • Pre-planning the usage of key assets like hoists to ensure alignment with program needs.
    • Managing the installation of site accommodations and overseeing their facilities.
    • Scheduling logistics meetings and ensuring representation at site meetings.
    • Planning and coordinating with key contractors to meet program needs and de-conflict onsite space and time.
    • Assisting in evaluating potential logistic suppliers and managing delivery management booking systems.
    • Managing subcontractors to deliver their package of goods or services.
    • Maintaining records and producing key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Organizing resources to meet project deadlines, including working additional hours as required.
    • Reviewing and producing method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans.
    • Providing logistics instruction to all project suppliers.
    • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager/Coordinator on construction sites.
    • Track record of successful distribution and logistics management.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Essential certifications including CPCS Appointed Person A61, CSCS, Safety Passport, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid Certification, Lifting Supervisor Certification, and Slinger/Signaller Certification, with Fire Marshall Certification desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
