Project Support Officer - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 6 Months - with possible extension.

Contracting Authority:
MOD - JFC

Location:
Hybrid - Remote & 1 day per week in Corsham.

As a Project Support Officer your main responsibilities will be:

  • Delivery
  • Supporting the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost & quality constraints.
  • Day to day management of the project setting project controls / designing the project structure appropriate to stage.


  • Risk & Issues

  • Identifying & monitoring project risks & issues developing mitigating actions & escalating as appropriate.


  • Governance & Assurance

  • Supporting the team with effective governance processes & decision making.


  • Resources

  • Supporting the team in identifying, developing & deploying resources. Providing information for effective decision making to the Project Manager.


  • Stakeholder

  • Managing professional relationships with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders and acting as lead point of contact for some internal &/ or external parties. Drafting & signoff correspondence.

You'll have relevant experience in:

_ Active, valid SC clearance is essential for this role

  • Demonstrable, proven Project Support experience within a large, complex, technical environment.
  • A relevant Project Management qualification.
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills ability to report to senior levels.


  • Risk management experience

  • RAID logs.
  • Resource Management experience desirable.
  • Primavera P6 experience desirable.
  • Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
