How you will create an impact

Reporting to the Marine Claims Manager, with responsibility for managing all aspects of the claims adjudication process, you'd be providing management and clients with an efficient and effective claims service.

The Marine Claims Team manage claims concerning the following Direct, Facultative Reinsurance, Excess of Loss and Proportional Treaty classes:

• Political Risk/Trade Credit
• Product Recall/Crisis Management
• Hull & Machinery
• Cargo/Specie
• Upstream Energy
• Marine & Energy Liabilities

What you'll need to succeed

• We'd be interested in speaking with people who have experience handling complex claims through discovery process, dispute resolution, mediation, court, obtaining judgement
• Experience in handling direct, facultative and treaty reinsurance claims in the appropriate classes.
• Qualified or studying towards ACII
• Detailed understanding of the London Market, regulatory environment and implications for Talbot and its clients
• Full working knowledge of ECF and DocoSoft
