Location:
Preston PR2


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 42.75 per week 7:00 - 4:30 Mon - Thurs, Fri plus alternate Saturdays 8:00 - 13:00


Salary:
Competeive, dependant on experince


The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced weighbridge operator to support the weighbridge function at our Recycling Park facility in Longridge, Preston.

Key responsibilities:


  • Operate the weighbridge with vehicles coming on and off.
  • Record the vehicle Registration, Client and incoming weight of a vehicle and add to the weighbridge system.
  • Record the tare weight of vehicles once they have tipped an assign the correct products to the weighbridge ticket.
  • Direct the wagon to the appropriate loading/unloading area.
  • Inform the relevant staff that the wagon is on site.
  • Track, liaise and keep up to date with all trailers on site and off site
  • Complete with WEEE breakdowns, including pricing, invoicing and reporting for commercial contracts
  • Manage calendars for incoming load bookings
  • Month end reporting for Commercial and compliance
  • Print and complete the relevant paperwork for Hazardous loads


To succeed in this role, you will need be reliable, organised and have good organisational and attention to detail skills.

You will hold incredibly high standards, demonstrate a positive attitude, and display a good level of communication.


Previous weighbridge administration experience is advantageous but not essential however, you will need to have some previous administration experience and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
