    Digital Signage & Infrastructure

    Selling to Tier1 & Tier2 Retailers (large grocery chains)

    Up to £75k Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

    England remote based

    A leading provider of Digital Signage and infrastructure and end-to-end managed services with a specialist solution for Tier1 and Tier2 Retailers, (large grocery chains).

    They pride themselves on high customer satisfaction and offer a client facing service desk to ensure a smooth running of these solutions. For nearly 20 years, they have created infrastructure and software solutions, recently the cloud-based solutions have been developed to optimise client's efficiency and capability to grow.

    Job Overview

    The main role of the Business Development Manager is to create long-term trusting relationships with new customers. The Business Development Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

    In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Business Operations, Presales, Service Delivery and Project Management) to manage the customer experience. You will also be supported with opportunities generated by a team of Sales Development Representatives. Currently the business has a pipeline of over £50 million. This Digital signage industry is about to boom, and this is a great opportunity for a hungry and experienced Retail Sales professional to make some serious cash.

    Key skills, experience, qualifications:

    • Proven work experience in generating new business with Tier1 & Tier2 retailers (such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Co-Op, Asda etc.)
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
    • Solid experience with solution selling.
    • Enterprise sales experience.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Remote based but there will be a requirement to travel.

    Salary

    For the right candidate a basic salary of up to £75,000 is available depending on experience. In addition to this there is an attractive uncapped commission plus company benefits. Realistic OTE for someone achieving target after the 1st year is £150,000. There are team members tracking at over £200k this year.
