- Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients and daily specials to respond to guest inquiries and make suggestions.
- Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services and activities
- Upsell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver cheques and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations and all customer service guide lines
