    Job Summary

    To develop and grow the UK market searching for new customers, industries, and market sectors. To canvas and promote the company daily, finding new potential markets and industries in which to sell our products.

    On receiving the enquiry back from the estimating team, it will be your responsibility to follow the quote through to conversion.

    Duties And Responsibilities


    • To find new potential customers, new markets, and industries such as MOD, Energy/Nuclear, and Renewables.
    • The above is achieved via web research, cold calling, arranging video calls, and arranging meetings when required.
    • Within the research new approvals may be needed which you will propose, once agreed you will lead through to the end
    * internal resource to support.


    • Complete new vendor questionnaires as and when needed.
    • Visit potential customers as and when required based on spend potential, area, and feedback - discuss with manager to authorize.
    • Attend trade shows in a bid to network and find potential new customers.
    • To discuss the target of daily calls and feedback to the manager of any potentials or openings - weekly reporting with KPI's on results every Friday.
    • Working within the CRM recording sales activity - recording company name, email address, contact name, etc. summary report be sent to the manager once per week.
    • Receive enquires, make sure all is present and correct before forwarding to the estimating team.
    • Receive quotes, send, and follow up on a daily basis and record all feedback.
    • Any orders received should have a sales contract review and sent to the sales administrator for order entry.
    • To track all orders taken and keep the customer updated through the life cycle to point of despatch.
    • All possible travel opportunities to be discussed and authorized with the Sales Manager.
    • After each visit a report must be written and sent to your manager.
    • Promote company via LinkedIn and weekly mail shots as and when required.
    • Product training will be given but some out of hour's study will be expected/necessary.
    • All health & Safety requirements are followed when onsite
    • You may be asked to undertake reasonable overtime when needed.
