Your new role

We are recruiting for the role of a FP&A Analyst in our growing finance team. Initially you will be the sole Analyst within the FP&A team.

Working closely with the head of FP&A, the accounts team and various internal departments, You'll be part of an excellentteam who are diligent and analytical.

This role is perfect for an ambitious individual keen to be innovative and autonomous in daily responsibilities and projects.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the preparation of the annual short-to-medium term Business Plan & reforecasts for the Exponential-e group, integrating the changes to the financials arising from the business' recent transition to IFRS, liaising with subsidiaries, and presenting& communicating clearly to the business.
- leading the implementation of Board FP&A software, to replicate the current Excel-based planning models & forecasts in a sophisticated software system that will allow for agile forecasting, analysis and scenario planning.

  • To prepare key monthly financial reporting, including:
  • Board Pack
  • Cost Centre & Overheads Reporting
  • Capex & Investment Reporting
To prepare various commercial analysis of the business to support decisions & company growth

  • Segmentation of the P&L into commercially relevant areas, such as:
  • P&L split by product groups
  • P&L split by contract type
  • P&L split by New vs Existing customers
What you'll need to succeed

To help continue with our world-class status, we need someone who can deliver excellence. As Senior FP&A Analyst you must have a 'can do' attitude, and a passion for precision.


Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Fully qualified CIMA or equivalent
  • Experience in IT / Technology / Telecoms industry beneficial, but not required
  • Experience with Board or other FP&A / reporting software preferred
  • Experience with, and understanding of IFRS accounting principles preferred
  • Ability to both work with / analyse detail & large datasets, as well as step back from the detail to understand and explain the conclusions & bigger picture
  • Ability to create informative & engaging presentations
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • High standards of accuracy and precision
  • Articulate, with the ability to communicate financial concepts to nonfinance managers
