Job Objectives and Responsibilities

The Head of Small Works is a key role to support the integrated direction, management and leadership in the administrative and business planning and efforts of all assigned Additional Works, Furniture Fittings and Equipment and LSS Remedial impacted activities.
-
The post holder will be responsible for the development of a strategic and cost effective approach to the delivery across the account which is aligned with both the MITIE and Client Strategic Objectives.

Supports the Head of Projects and Estate Change in overseeing the development, implementation and delivery activities, develops tracking and evaluation programmes to assist the overall discipline goals and objectives.

Will engage with the Operations and Commercial team to ensure that the contractual delivery requirements are fully defined with milestones established. Engage with the Client Team to establish the necessary information is available and up-to-date and support in compiling any requests for information and identifying and managing associated risks.

Will oversee the Role of the Additional Works/LSS and FF&E teams within the account whilst giving clear direction and leadership.

Main Duties
-
Develop and embed the teams with associated support, training and internal audits.
-
Establish benefits tracking
-
Development of case studies to use both internally and externally
-
Develop and articulate a strategic approach to identifying opportunities to deliver added value to the client including additional works.
-
Engagement with the wider Leadership team agreeing related contractual requirements and ensuring they are met
-
Liaison with key client stakeholders
-
Input into annual improvement plans as required
-
Ensure the contract operations are fully compliant with relevant environmental legislation, policies and guidance
-
Developing and maintaining 12 month plan to achieve annual targets
-
Attendance at senior management team meetings to ensure Additional Works/LSS Remedials is embedded operationally
-
Produce monthly, quarterly and annual internal commercial and AWT/LSS Remedial status reports
-
Attendance at regular client meetings
-
Identify areas where the client can improve their AWT /LSS Remedial impact
-
Develop training programmes and workshops on practices for employees and client

Help drive the Account Strategy

Qualifications:

IT literate in MS Office and systems management software

Good communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to present confidently

Analytical approach to using data to enhance Project delivery performance.

Ability undertake engagement programmes and present this to a variety of audiences
- **Current SC or higher security clearance to allow immediate access to necessary sensitive data and sites during mobilisation
