Operations Coordinator** to join their small team.


Reporting to the Finance Manager, this pivotal role will help support the business, ultimately taking ownership of customer and supplier related administrative tasks.


Duties and responsibilities for this Operations Coordinator role include:

  • General administration and support in all areas of the business, duties to include:
  • Product and supplier research for specific projects
  • Preparing specifications
  • Preparing Health and Safety documents
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Maintaining subcontractor records
  • Preparation of installation paperwork and files
  • Ordering, receiving and dispatching installation hardware & software
  • Booking and scheduling engineering resource
  • Compiling handover documentation
  • Maintaining the internal process for diary management & renewals or maintenance contracts
  • Working towards accreditations of any relevant boards, including maintaining the Safe Contractor certification

Overall aim of the Operations Coordinator job role:

  • Ensuring an efficient day to day running of the office and smooth running of the business.
  • Maintain a pleasant work environment.
  • Ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety.

Requirements for this Operations Coordinator opportunity include:

  • Good computer skills are essential, specifically using MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service experience, including verbal communication.
  • Previous office experience is essential, along with a willingness to learn.


Working hours are from 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs (or 10:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs if more suited) with a half hour lunch break (working a total of 37.5 hours per week).

Our client offers statutory holiday entitlement with the addition of 3-4 days over Christmas (dependanton the year) and a day off for birthdays.

Our client is offering a salary in the range of £23,000 to £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience) together with a statutory NEST contributory pension.


Although office based, our client may consider a hybrid working pattern once the role is established, at both the company and incumbents' discretion.

It must be noted that this is a small team environment where individuals will sometimes be working on theirown within the office, which is part of a managed office and social business complex.


This is an exciting and extremely varied opportunity, requiring the incumbent to be able to wear many hats and prioritise effectively.

Whilst there isn't currently a role to naturally be promoted into, there could well be the potential to grow with the businessand take on new responsibilities.
