- Acting as shift senior in Electrical engineering - supporting the wider Engineering team.
- Providing hands on technical support whenever necessary to reduce engineering downtime and deliver maintenance plans.
- Carrying out root cause analysis on worst performing assets and owning any actions generated to improve results.
- Coordinating, planning, and delivering training to engineers to develop knowledge and capabilities across the team.
- For these Electrical Shift Technician roles, we are seeking Electrically biased Engineers with a strong track record of success within manufacturing environments and PLC knowledge. Ideally you will have experience of food manufacturing processes, but this is not essential.
- A good understanding of PLC SOFTWARE Allen Bradley, Omron and Scada is essential.
- Strong ability to modify software if necessary and confident in reading Ladder Logic
- Experience in reading, modifying electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- A good understanding of Electrical machine safety, and good knowledge of wiring categories.
- A strong understanding of electrical installations and inspection and testing
- Electrical systems and installation experience and training
- Experience in training people

We produce own label biscuits to all the major retailers including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury's, Aldi, and Lidl in addition to the Elkes brand.
Reporting into the Engineering Shift Manager, this Electrical Shift Technician role will play an essential part in supporting our daily operations.
