    Description

    Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher seeking a rewarding role? Teaching Personnel is excited to present a full-time position for an MFL Teacher at an Ofsted rated, Good secondary school in Darlington.

    This role is available immediately after Easter and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for permanency based on performance.

    As an MFL Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the study of foreign languages, fostering their linguistic abilities and cultural understanding.

    You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum, catering to students of varying abilities and backgrounds.


    Curriculum Delivery:

    Plan and deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons, covering topics such as grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.


    Language Proficiency:

    Teach one or more foreign languages, such as French, Spanish, German, or others, depending on your expertise and the school's requirements.

    Introduce students to the culture, traditions, and customs of the countries where the language(s) you teach are spoken, fostering cultural appreciation and global awareness.


    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with colleagues within the MFL department and across the school, sharing best practices and resources to enhance teaching and learning.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

    Strong subject knowledge and proficiency in one or more foreign languages, with a passion for language teaching and learning.

    Experience teaching MFL at secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.
    Commitment to promoting language proficiency, cultural understanding, and global citizenship among students.
    Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
