    Our client is looking to recruit a Employment Solicitor to join their growing team in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to join a highly rated law firm and work as part of growing Employment practice. The team advises clients across a range of sectors including corporate clients, education and health.

The firm has won numerous awards as a great place to work and the Employment team is ranked as a leading practice by the legal directories for Yorkshire. The firms office is based in central Leeds near the train station.

    Description

    The Employment Solicitor will pick up a range of work and responsibilities including;

    • Providing legal advice on a range of employment law issues
    • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies.
    • Representing clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
    • Advising on redundancy and dismissal procedures.
    • Liaising with clients, building and maintaining relationships.
    • Keeping abreast of changes in employment law and regulations.
    • Collaborating with team members to ensure a comprehensive service.
    • Conducting legal research to support cases.

    Profile

    The successful Employment Solicitor should have:

    • Trained with a well known regional, national or international law firm.
    • A strong knowledge of employment law.
    • Likely to be 0-4 years PQE.
    • Strong academics.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • The ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload.
    • A client-focused approach, with strong relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

    Job Offer

    • An estimated salary range of £56,000 - £66,000 per annum.
