    An exciting opportunity is available to join a locally owned engineering design firm, who have been operating in Glasgow for over a hundred years, to become a Marine Civil Engineer.

    Their portfolio includes harbours and quays, piers, wave protection structures, marinas, berthing facilities and more. Your role will be to deliver designs and solutions for clients like the Northern Lighthouse Board, local authorities, developers and contractors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver project designs and assessments to clients
    • Liaise with other members of the team to achieve a co-ordinated solution
    • Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages
    • Coordinating and liaising with client's staff and project stakeholders

    Requirements:

    • Relevant experience of civil engineering problem solving and development of sound engineering solutions
    • Good report writing, communication and numerical skills
    • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure
    • Confidence and ability to take of responsibility for work on projects, small and large
