Associate Building Physics Engineer


An international, innovative independent real estate consultancy are looking to expand their ESG team and bring on a Senior or Associate Building Physics Consultant into their team, based in London.


The Company


The successful Building Physics Engineer will join an established team of ESG consultants of around 20 people and work on a mix of commercial, residential, healthcare, education and more.

The successful ESG consultant will be required to attend site visitsand meet with clients frequently.


The Role / The Building Physics Engineer

The successful Building Physics Engineer will be required to:

  • Have a strong understanding of: Building Physics, Concept Design, Thermal Modelling
  • Thermal Analysis, Energy Analysis, Lighting control, daylight analysis
  • MEP understanding during each building/design stage
  • Proficient in IES VE
  • BREEAM and LEED experience
  • CIBSE


  • Energy Assessor level

  • Part L compliance experience
  • EPC calculations
  • Python, Sketch Up, Revit
  • Site inspections
  • Manage two junior staff / grads
  • Present findings in both technical and nontechnical language

Skills & Experience required:


  • Relevant degree
  • Building Services Engineering, Building Physics, Mechanical / Thermal Engineering
  • 7+ years' experience
  • Passive Haus design


  • NDEA Level 4/

  • IES VE
