    Tasks

    Therequirements of the Field Service Engineer Chromatography& Mass Spectrometry:

    • Circa 2 years of experience as aField Service Engineer or Site Engineer with experience servicingeither or a mix of Chromatography & Mass Spectrometryequipment in areas such as HPLC GC Ion Chromatography LC UPLC LCMSGCMS or similar areas
    • You will have abackground in either a Life Sciences Chemistry or Engineeringqualification (or be qualified byexperience)
    • Strong problemsolvingskills
    • The ability to balance multiple taskswith different priorities
    • Excellentinterpersonal selfmotivational and negotiatingskills
    • Proficient levels of PCliteracy
    • Valid UK Driving Licence (ideallyclean) and a valid passport
    • Willing and able totravel 5 days a week within territory Monday to Friday withoccasional nights away from home
    • Good Englishskills both verbal and written. Ability to work across all levelsfunctions andregions

    Requirements

    Theresponsibilities of the Field Service Engineer Chromatography& Mass Spectrometry:

    • Perform all servicerelated work on arange of high performance Chromatography & MassSpectrometry instruments at clients sites across the Southeast ofEngland
    • You will be responsible for reportingaccurately and timely of all activities as required (e.g. FieldService Reports Expense Reports etc.)
    • Assureresponsive telephone support and diagnostic as well as onsiteServices to exceed the customers expectation and making themsuccessful by using TMO instruments
    • Alwaysensure highest professional relationship with our customer base toachieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solvecritical tasks in the fastest waypossible
    • Responsible to manage the companysassets provided such as Car Stock/Inventory of Parts ComputerTelephone general Tools Software Company Car Manualsetc
    • Optimize the own work schedule bycoordinating with all the necessary partners for serviceplanning/scheduling (Dispatching function Team Leaderothers)
    • Ensure accurate completion of allreports as required (e.g. Field Service Reports Expense Reportsetc.) (Assures alignment of all activities at the customer sitewith the rest of TMO and informs other part of TMO of importantinformation with information respect to our customers (e.g.information about new purchases to sales/leadgeneration)
