What You'll Do:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Producer to join our IMG Studios football department.

The role will lead and motivate the football editorial and production teams to achieve creative, departmental, and business objectives for both the short and long-term - whilst always ensuring client focus.

To set the direction and oversee all programming across match and studio events, and ensure IMG is providing value to football clients, partners and audiences.


PLEASE NOTE:
This is a permanent role based at our office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • To be engaged in detailed planning and preparation for all assigned events and ensure the successful execution of all production.
  • Overseeing on-site and studio production schedule and planning.
  • Management and development of IMG and freelance production staff, as well as OB crew.
  • To form an integral part of Senior Production team within the Football Department
  • in particular the Head of Football Content and Head of Production.
  • To work with the Head of Football Content and Head of Production on developing and nurturing all Production personnel on the team.
  • To work closely with the Production Management team
  • in particular Production Executives and Production Managers
  • to ensure strong financial, business and personnel management on each project.
  • Develop and sustain a collaborative culture across that ensures production staff work together to achieve common goals.
  • Ensuring direct reports are regularly appraised and training needs are facilitated in order to respond to changes in editorial and technical workflows.
  • Work collaboratively with other Senior Production staff to oversee all staffing requirements/issues within the team.
  • Responsible for establishing editorial protocol and communication.
  • Leading editorial voice on shaping storylines through commentators and talent, graphics, research and inserts.
  • Main contact for all key stakeholders on each football production.
  • Commentator/Talent recruitment.
  • Commentator/Talent development and training.
  • Responsible for new production innovation/enhancement development and improvements.
  • To fill the Executive Producer role on all new tournaments where possible.
  • Ensure that IMG attracts, recruits and retains the best talent to deliver world class football content.
  • Ensure that IMG is at the forefront of diversity & inclusion at all times.
  • Ensure that IMG is at the forefront of sustainability at all times.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Extensive experience as an Executive Producer or equivalent role working across a variety of genres
  • studio, news, magazine but especially on live OB's in the UK and internationally, preferably football based.
  • Previous experience of dealing with and managing high profile clients/talent, third parties, key stakeholders and leading broadcasters
  • Strong and extensive knowledge of football globally.
  • Proven ability to create original ideas and produce compelling content
  • Proven experience of managing large production teams of various levels
  • Previous experience of leading and motivating production teams to achieve departmental, business and creative objectives.
  • Proven history of performance/appraisal management with the ability to offer training solutions
  • Relevant and up-to-date production technical (including digital production) workflow analysis
  • Experience of financial reporting and managing budgets
