    We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the Product Management Team reporting to the Associate Director of Technical Content Writing.

    They will be responsible for the creation of technical documents such as sample prep protocols, device and software manuals, the Oxford Nanopore Store catalogue, and application-specific documentation.

    As the Oxford Nanopore product performance and offering expand, so too does the desire of users to have an end-to-end sequencing solution, starting with raw sample extraction and preparation, to sequencing, to data analysis.

    This role offers the opportunity to build very strong relationships with R&D, Applications, and the Commercial team.

    Data analysis user manuals
    Store catalogue content
    Playing an active role in improving our documentation and writing processes
    Assisting the UX team in testing the usability of written documentation

    The Technical Writer will generate documentation using a designated content management system and will also be using a range of content creation and editing software.

    Strong collaboration/networking skills
    A PhD or equivalent experience in molecular biology or a related science
    Previous experience in writing SOPs, technical writing, or medical writing
    Writing software instructions
