Anderson Knight is currently seeking an experienced Administrator for a client located in Lanarkshire.


The position offers a comfortable office setting, with 39 working hours from Monday to Friday, along with the added perks of an early finish on a Friday.


The purpose of the role is to offer administrative assistance to the Business Support Manager and various departments, aiming to deliver outstanding customer service.


Additionally, ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the reception area, taking responsibility for front desk duties, and stepping in to cover when needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Handle reception duties 2 days per week, including managing calls, addressing inquiries, and welcoming visitors, ensuring their needs are met during their visit.
  • Offer administrative support to each department, including filing, scanning, data processing, customer and supplier interactions, and other tasks assigned by department managers.
  • Organise company travel arrangements, including accommodations, room bookings, car rentals, and support executives with travel needs, including visa requirements.
  • Ensure sufficient office supplies and equipment are available.
  • Generate and process corporate Purchase Orders as needed, adhering to guidelines and targets.
  • Aid in delivering the company communication plan and supporting inhouse events and initiatives.
  • Take ownership of your professional development to achieve work objectives and personal career goals.

Key Attributes and Skills:


  • Hold a qualification of HNC/HND level, preferably in a businessrelated field.
  • Demonstrate the capability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintain composure and logical thinking when facing tight deadlines.
  • Exhibit selfmotivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Approach tasks with a positive, problemsolving mindset and a creative outlook.
  • Proficient in PC operations, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe software; Excel proficiency is crucial.
  • Experience with Canva, Publisher, or other communication or video editing tools is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Due to the location of this role you must have access to a car.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
