Salary: £160 to £245 a day

Type: Contract, full time

Academics Ltd is working alongside a popular and friendly secondary school in Hemel Hempstead seeking a Food Technology teache. This Ofsted rated 'good' school is home to engage pupils who enjoy attending school and a supportive staff cohort.

The school located in the heart of Hemel Hempstead and has an excellent Food Technology department. The school is ideally seeking a teacher with at least a year of experience however; they will consider a competent ECT with a proven track record. The school is also open to welcoming teachers from overseas, but you must have QTS or QTLS.

The Food Technology Teacher role:

Teaching Food Technology up to KS4 as a minimum
* Full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery, and assessment.
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
* Working as part of the Food Technology faculty supporting each other with planning and assessment

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Teacher Role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
* Experience teaching the UK Food Technology Curriculum
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* The ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
