- Title: Ultimate Tech Leader
- Reporting to: Camp Manager
- Contract: Seasonal work in summer school holidays
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm (except on Mondays when you will start at 8am to set up for the week. Overtime for this will be compensated)
- Organize and conduct tech activities for kids aged 8-14, emphasizing participation, skill enhancement, and enjoyment
- Directly supervise a staff team assigned to you to ensure they meet the expected standards at the Ultimate Activity Company
- Ensure adherence to all camp policies and procedures by yourself, your team, and the children in your care, including health and safety guidelines and safeguarding procedures
- Monitor and interact with children beyond scheduled activities
- Handle administrative tasks and serve as the primary contact for parents of children attending Ultimate Tech Camps
- Live by the Ultimate Activity Camp commitment of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and exhibit a demeanor that mirrors the company's expectations throughout your tenure
- Display the necessary enthusiasm, vigor, and professionalism for the entire season, representing Ultimate Activity Camps and serving as a positive role model for children
- Execute other miscellaneous duties (equipment maintenance/ordering, etc.)
- Qualified in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media-related course (with programming expertise) or actively working towards such qualifications. Alternatively, a self-taught individual with demonstrated programming knowledge, particularly in JavaScript or Python, supported by a portfolio
- An enthusiastic, energetic individual with experience in child-oriented roles and a passion for assisting youths in honing their IT skills, capable of tailoring delivery and structure based on age and skill level, and adapting as needed
- A born leader with management background, preferably in IT teaching or holiday camp settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly face-to-face customer service abilities. Candidates should feel at ease conversing with parents and school staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities and patience. Being able to assist multiple individuals with similar issues on a one-on-one basis and guiding them through moments of frustration with enthusiasm is crucial
- Seeking a challenging yet highly rewarding and enjoyable job during holidays, aiming to advance in ICT teaching or childcare
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid (6-hour or 12-hour) certification or be open to obtaining one through the Ultimate Activity Company

The Details
Summary of Position
The Ultimate Tech Leader is responsible for the successful delivery of our Ultimate Tech program while ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained. We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced professionals to assist us in fulfilling our commitment to 'Inspire Children Every Day'.
The role of the Ultimate Tech Leader is to provide exceptional technology and coding activities to small groups of 8- to 14-year-olds at our Ultimate Tech Camps. You will supervise, motivate, and support your Tech Instructors to collectively deliver enjoyable tech and coding activities to kids attending our Ultimate Tech Camps.
You will oversee the implementation of all policies and procedures, communicating with parents, school personnel, and Head Office when necessary. In addition to leading sessions, staff will contribute to the high level of physical, emotional, and social care provided by the Ultimate Activity Company. A Camp Manager will be available on-site for assistance with care and parent concerns.
