NonStop Consulting is seeking a Mechatronic Engineer for a Central Government authority, available for primarily onsite work in Didcot on an initial 6 months contract with potential extension.


This Public Sector client is looking for a skilled Mechatronic Engineer to be working as part of a team designing new and upgraded equipment for beamline instruments for the designated facility.


Main requirements:


  • Experience of Mechatronic design (must include the design of dynamic, moving components)
  • General experience in mechanical component design, which should be supported with knowledge of manufacturing processes and the assembly of parts.
  • Solid Edge (or equivalent) 3D CAD experience
  • Use of geometric tolerancing (GD&T) and precision machining of parts
