    This is an exciting opportunity to join the recently formed People Services within Lancashire Council. You will sit within the Talent and Performance function which is committed to strategic workforce development through high quality training, apprenticeships, and upskilling programmes to maintain our competitive edge whilst supporting career progression. Our engagement and wellbeing strategies are designed to meet the evolving needs of our workforce, reducing turnover, enhancing employee experience and future proofing organisational knowledge.

    The successful applicant will be part of an enthusiastic and supportive team with a focus on commissioning and delivering training programmes, primarily to our teams within the highways, transport and environment services.

    We are looking for someone who is creative, able to think outside the box with a can-do attitude. You should have a good knowledge and understanding of the legislative requirements for both construction and transport together with a sound understanding of health and safety principles and practices. This position is full time on a permanent basis and will be working 37 hours per week. The role is hybrid working and requires travel across the county.
