    Warehouse Operative & Trade Counter Assistant

    Salary & Benefits:

    • £24,000 to £31,000 negotiable, depending on experience
    • Profit sharing scheme

    Company Description: Join the UK's leading electrical distributor and switch on to a bright future My client is the largest electrical distributor in the United Kingdom and serves both to the trade and to the public from over 300 locations in the UK. They are looking for an energetic Warehouse Operative/Trade Counter person to join their team in Gillingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress within the business and to be a part of their continued success.

    **Experience working in the Electrical Wholesale/Building/Plumbing Trade is essential**

    Person:

    • You must have a proven track record of working in a warehouse or trade counter within either the electrical, building or plumbing industry, be dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
    • You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a "can do" attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
    • Ability to self-manage with a high level of self-motivation and drive
    • Driving license is preferred

    Key Responsibilities:

    • General warehouse upkeep
    • Picking & Packing orders
    • Loading and unloading vans
    • Serving customers over a busy trade counter, building, maintaining and enhancing excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business
    • Dealing with and resolving any customer queries

    Hours: 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday & 1-in-3 Saturdays 8:30am to 12:00pm
