Description

Full Time, Fixed Term until 31st March 2025.
We are looking for an energetic practitioner with recent practice experience of delivering evidenced based parenting programmes.

You will be based within our Children Centre service, working in close partnership and being supported by the Families in Focus Parenting Service.

Children's Centres provide a wide range of universal and targeted support to children and families across a variety of sites across the city.

As part of the development of Family HUBs in Bristol we are looking for a Parenting Practitioner to join our Children's Centre services in South Bristol.

You will be delivering evidenced based parenting programmes for parents with children 0 -2 years on both a 1:1 and group basis.

You will take a city-wide lead in the development of these programmes as well as supporting your peers through co-facilitation of groups, observations and facilitating peer supervision.

You will be self
- motivated, organised, enjoy partnership working and be open to continued professional development, to include the opportunity to gain 0-5 CYP IAPT qualification.

You will need to be able to work one evening a week and work in a flexible way, travelling across the city as needed, responding to demand.

You will be confident in delivering interventions both virtually and face to face.

If you want to join a team that is making a positive impact through providing evidence based parenting interventions, we'd like to hear from you.
